Youth Leadership
SCCS provides a variety of opportunities for
young people to develop their leadership skills through real life experience.
Examples include serving on the SCCS Board of Directors and assuming important
management responsibilities as the Youth Executive Director and Youth Thrift
Shop Manager.

Youth
Executive Director

Harrison
The Youth Executive Director (YED) is a part
time position requiring 4 to 10 hours per week. The YED works alongside the
regular SCCS Executive Director, learning and carrying out a wide variety of
tasks concerned with the administration of a community based service organization and
tax exempt corporation.

Youth
Thrift Shop Manager
Incumbent: Monica
Resendiz
The Youth Thrift Shop Manager (YTSM) works
alongside the regular Thrift Shop Manager learning and carrying out a wide
variety of tasks concerned with the ongoing operations of the SCCS Thrift Shop.
The YTSM is also primarily responsible for training all youth thrift shop
volunteers.
