Wildcats

Wildcats provides an introduction to youth development for children ages 9-12. Major funding for the program comes from the Lucille Packard Foundation for Children's Health.

Program Goal

Through an ongoing partnership of program participants and SCCS staff, Wildcats creates a safe and supportive environment for participants to discover fun healthy activities that promote physical, emotional and social well-being and develop personal and social skills upon which a realistic sense of self efficacy and confidence can be based.

Program Activities

Wildcats provides a wide variety of after school and weekend. activities. Because the activity choices are youth directed, they are highly diverse. Past activities have included painting, swimming, going to the beach, cooking and attending stage productions such as the Lion King and the Nutcracker.
